Why AI (artificial intelligence) is a problem
Hi everyone, I'm going to be ranting a bit but one thing I just don't understand is why AI is just so popular. Like, ok sure it helps people do their work and gets things done, but really is it going to help people find a job? I don't think it's ever when AI has already been taking up everyone's jobs and it would've been better if AI just left every single job untouched and stayed as a tool, but no, people want to make it so "advanced" to the point where it just does everything for us and look what's happening now when it comes to finding jobs and pursuing the majors we want to pursue. Some people can't even follow their dream careers all thanks to the risk of AI killing it off. The reason as to why I'm so pissed about AI is because I was originally planning on becoming an animator but after hearing about AI making "artworks" for people, that was already a huge disappointment and I just knew I couldn't risk wasting my time to get that job if AI was just going to take that future away from me in the end. I really wish AI didn't exist. It brings more harm than good if anything, especially with what we've been seeing with the "AI age verification." Can we even trust AI handling our personal information? I don't think so, not when AI is owned by huge companies who keep on profiting off on people's data's. They will always want something back in return.
Education
Another thing I want to rant about is how insane it is of every college course being so expensive. My parents spent $800+ just so that I could enter the classes I wanted to be in, and what's worse is that I don't even know if the classes I'm taking will even be worth it because I'm in a situation where I don't even know what job I want, and it's a huge problem because if I don't figure out what job I want to have soon then I'm gonna be stuck living with my parents forever and that would be a huge nightmare. I know that some people say, "hey just try to live with your parents for as long as possible, you'll be able to save up on a lot of money." Like, sure but for me, I need to move out as quickly as possible because of some family problems. My goal really is to be capable of living on my own before 2029 or 2030. If anyone knows a good career I could get without it being too hard to achieve, it would be appreciated because I'm already failing my chemistry class due to stress and my mental health. I know that those two factors aren't an excuse for getting a bad grade in class but believe me, it's so hard to focus when my mind is in a wreck. I already gave up wanting to work in the medical field, but my parents keep on telling me, "You wanna have a stable job and make good money, work in the medical field." Oh... I feel hopeless at times. I tried doing some research but so far I haven't encountered any luck yet. I'll just keep on searching for a job in the meantime until then.
Other Random Stuff
Besides the issue with finding a job and my work performance in college, I've been thinking of watching some Blade Runner during the spring break (a close friend of mine gave it to me for free!) I'm really excited to watch it. I also want to mention that the next video for my Youtube channel is going to be on Sunday most likely and Saturday at earliest. I haven't decided on an exact topic yet but I hope you'll be able to get something out of it until then. That's it for now, see you soon and thanks for reading this post! :)
